Position Summary:
Planorama is a European company based in Paris, offering high-tech services to major brands of consumer goods, based on a revolutionary technology. Currently present in 8 countries and achieving growth of 200% per year, the company is willing to accelerate its development in the UK and some other countries.
The candidate will be responsible for account development and management for the UK and potentially other countries, such as Ireland.
The position will be based in Paris, with regular travels to Great-Britain. As an alternative, the candidate may also be home based in Britain, with frequent visits to the head office in Paris.
Responsibilities:
- Expand Company’s customer base by prospecting, meeting customers, negotiating and selling our products
- Work autonomously liaising with the C.E.O. and other sales team members
- Prepare and manage sales budget and forecast, meet sales performance targets, and develop future sales development strategies to ensure growth
- Contribute to competitive analysis and to identifying strategic targets for current products with capture plans.
- Identify and anticipate customer requirements, expectations and needs
- Ensure company presentations standards are met
- Participate in trade shows and exhibitions and assist in planning marketing activities
Profile:
- Proven success in selling products or service solutions through direct sales within a business-to-business sales environment
- Proven objection handling, prospecting and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel
- English native speaker or equivalent level
- Previous experience in the retail sector would be a plus
